Urban Mining
Our homes and cities are a mine of used and obsolete electronics. Each electronic contains valuable raw materials (mainly gold, silver, copper, and cobalt). Through urban mining, we can sort, recycle, and repurpose those precious metals and support the development of a circular economy, instead of extracting continuously from nature and deplete her natural resources. By offsetting your E-waste, you can be a change maker. Together, we can restore the mining sites and mining communities throughout Africa and Latin America and/or collect E-waste in countries where infrastructure is still in its infancy!
Virgin Mining
We promote artisanal and small scale mining as it has the lowest carbon footprint in the precious metals sector. Simultaneously, it has the highest positive social impact through the jobs it creates and the lasting wealth it brings to mining communities. We also advocate for industrial processing which reduces negative environmental impacts through the use of eco-efficient processes, the elimination of mercury, minimal water usage, and the safe use of chemicals.
